May 2nd Statehouse Day a Success!
 
OAN, along with the Ohio Association of Child Care Providers and the Ohio Child Care Resource and Referral Association, held a Statehouse Day that was standing rooom only. One-hundered and twenty-six afterschool and early childhood advocates met in the morning to hear from Senator Gayle Manning, Kim Hettel of the Governor's Office of Faith -Based and Community-Initiatives and to receive an advocacy training by Willa Ebersole of Pappas and Associates. In the afternoon, advocates met with legislators and aides to share common concerns and opportunities.
